إنشاء حساب في مايكروسوفت عبر المُتصفح
يُمكن استخدام أحد مُتصفحات الإنترنت المتوفرة على الجهاز لإنشاء حساب مايكروسوفت جديد، عبر اتباع الخطوات الآتية:[١]
- فتح الموقع الإلكتروني الخاص بالتسجيل كمستخدم جديد عبر مايكروسوفت، ويمكن الوصول إلى هذا الموقع من خلال النقر على الرابط الإلكتروني اضغط هنا.
- إدخال الاسم الشخصي (Name) للمُستخدِم.
- إدخال تاريخ ميلاد المُستخدم (Birthdate).
- تحديد جنس المُستخدِم (Gender).
- إدخال عنوان البريد الإلكتروني (Email address) الخاص بالمُستخدِم، وذلك ضمن خانة اسم حساب مايكروسوفت (Microsoft account name)، أو يُمكن النقر على خيار الحصول على إيميل جديد (Get a new email) للتسجيل من خلال إنشاء إيميل جديد.
- إنشاء كلمة مرور خاصة بحماية الحساب الجديد.
- اختيار الرمز الذي يُشير إلى بلد المُستخدِم (Country code).
- إدخال رقم هاتف المُستخدِم (Phone number) لاستخدامه في بعض الحالات الطارئة؛ كاستعادة كلمة المرور، ويُمكن اختيار أحد أسئلة الأمان (Security question) عِوضاً عن ذلك.
- اختيار بلد أو منطقة المُستخدِم (Country/region)
- إدخال الرمز البريدي (Postal Code)، ثم إدخال الرمز الرقمي (CAPTCHA) الظاهر على الشاشة.
- اختيار تفعيل أو عدم تفعيل استقبال العروض من شركة مايكروسوفت.
- النقر على زر أُوافق (I accept).

يمكن استخدام خدمة التخزين السحابي وَن درايف (OneDrive) لإنشاء حساب عبر مايكروسوفت، من خلال اتباع الخطوات الآتية:[٢]
- فتح الموقع الإلكتروني لخدمة ون درايف على شبكة الإنترنت، ويمكن الوصول إلى هذا الموقع من خلال النقر على الرابط الإلكتروني اضغط هنا.
- النقر على خيار التسجيل (Sign up) الظاهر في أعلى الشاشة.
- النقر على زر إنشاء حساب مايكروسوفت (Create a Microsoft account).
- إدخال الاسم الكامل (Full name) للمُستخدِم.
- اختيار اسم مُستخدم (Username) لحساب مايكروسوفت الجديد.
- إنشاء كلمة مرور (Password) جديدة لحساب مايكروسوفت.
- إدخال بلد المُستخدِم (Country).
- إدخال تاريخ ميلاد المُستخدِم (birthdate)، ثم تحديد جنسه (Gender).
- اختيار الكود الذي يُشير إلى بلد المُستخدِم (Country code).
- إدخال رقم هاتف المُستخدِم (Phone number).
- إدخال الرمز الرقمي (CAPTCHA) الظاهر على الشاشة.
- النقر على زر إنشاء حساب (Create Account).
تغيير كلمة السر لحساب مايكروسوفت
يُمكن تغيير كلمة السر لحساب مايكروسوفت عبر اتباع الخطوات الآتية:[٣]
- تسجيل الدخول (Sign in) إلى حساب مايكروسوفت المُراد تغيير كلمة السر له.
- اختيار خيار الأمان (Security).
- اختيار خيار تغيير كلمة السر (Change password).
- إدخال كلمة المرور الحالية (Current password) للحساب.
- إدخال كلمة المرور الجديدة (New password)، ثم إعادة إدخالها مرة أُخرى.
- النقر على زر الحفظ (Save).
