relatively easy to take screenshots on the deck easy, but finding and sharing can be a problem. After some initial ambiguity, I reached the workflow of the screenshots that work for me.<\/p>\n<p>    <!-- Not injecting Ads due to No-Ads mode. --><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"how-to-take-steam-deck-screenshots-in-game-mode\">\n<p>                        How to take Steam deck shots in the game mode<br \/>\n               <\/h2>\n<p>It is easy to take screenshots in the game mode, and it works within the main Steam Deck user interface and in any games you play. To capture a screenshot, press and hold the STAM button and click the right bumper (Steam+RB).<\/p>\n<p>You must hear a sound effect from <em>half life<\/em> To refer to a screen shot, with a notification in the right corner of the lower screen. All you see will be captured, including a screenshot notification (so make it important).<\/p>\n<div class=\"body-img landscape \">\n<div class=\"responsive-img  image-expandable  img-article-item\">\n<figure>\n<p>                <img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"750\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"Overview of the Retrolements game with the screenshot index.\" data-img-url=\"https:\/\/goodwriterz.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/How-to-pick-up-screen-clips-find-them-and-share.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/goodwriterz.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/How-to-pick-up-screen-clips-find-them-and-share.jpg?resize=1200%2C750&#038;ssl=1\" style=\"height:auto;max-width:100%\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<\/figure><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>    This is just one of many useful steam surface shortcuts that you should save.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"how-to-take-screenshots-on-the-steamos-desktop\">\n<p>                        How to take screenshots on steamos desktop<br \/>\n               <\/h2>\n<p>The desktop mode is slightly different because the Steam+RB shortcut will work here. Just if you are not aware, you can access the desktop by pressing the power button and combating it at the top of the unit and choosing &#8220;Switch to Deskop&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Since this is a standard Linux operating system, you can use a third -party application to capture screenshots. Fortunately, Steamos comes with an application that can be done called the scene.<\/p>\n<p>You can find a scene by clicking on the application bomber icon in the lower left corner of the screen and moving to facilities&gt; scene.<\/p>\n<div class=\"body-img landscape \">\n<div class=\"responsive-img  image-expandable  img-article-item\">\n<figure>\n<p>                <img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"750\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"Steamos scene screenshot tool.\" data-img-url=\"https:\/\/goodwriterz.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/How-to-pick-up-screen-clips-find-them-and-share.png\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/goodwriterz.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/How-to-pick-up-screen-clips-find-them-and-share.png?resize=1200%2C750&#038;ssl=1\" style=\"height:auto;max-width:100%\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<\/figure><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>    The scene will take a screenshot once it is released, which you can save if you want. You can also use the screen control items to pick up a full, rectangular or active screen shot (and delay app).<\/p>\n<p>The application works better if you create it to act as you want. To do this, click &#8220;configure&#8221; and then use &#8220;when running&#8221; drop -down to determine the procedure.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, you can use the &#8220;Save the Versole&#8221; selection box to automatically save the screenshots. This will provide all screen shots at\/home\/deck\/folder as soon as they are taken. You can change this (along with the designation agreement) within the &#8220;Save&#8221; section.<\/p>\n<p>Personally, I have set a scene to take a screenshot and save it whenever I launched the application. I also installed it to my task manager (the tape at the bottom of the screen) by clicking with the right mouse button (the left trigger) application icon and select the &#8220;PIN&#8221; option.<\/p>\n<p>Now whenever you open the application by clicking the code, take and save a screenshot automatically. I can also right -click on the app icon to access other common capture settings.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"how-to-find-game-mode-screenshots\">\n<p>                        How to find the game screenshots of the game<br \/>\n               <\/h2>\n<p>In the game mode, screenshots should appear within the media section in the main menu. This is accessed by hitting the &#8220;Steam&#8221; button on your console, below the left tracking plate.<\/p>\n<p>In practice, this does not work very well. I find that the screenshots often disappear from the media browser, with no apparent way to restore them. I thought Steam was deleting them before I realized that something else was happening and all were safe.<\/p>\n<p>To reach the screenshots that you picked up in the game mode, pave the way in the desktop mode by pressing the power button and choosing &#8220;Switch to Desktop&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Now run a flow using the stairs icon in the lower right corner (you can only open the &#8220;library&#8221; button) and then use the menu bar at the top of the window to move for display&gt; recordings and screen clips.<\/p>\n<div class=\"body-img landscape \">\n<div class=\"responsive-img  image-expandable  img-article-item\">\n<figure>\n<p>                <img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"750\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"View screenshots and recordings in Steamos.\" data-img-url=\"https:\/\/goodwriterz.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/1740463493_108_How-to-pick-up-screen-clips-find-them-and-share.png\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/goodwriterz.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/1740463493_108_How-to-pick-up-screen-clips-find-them-and-share.png?resize=1200%2C750&#038;ssl=1\" style=\"height:auto;max-width:100%\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<\/figure><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>    The last media will now be shown, but you can use related drop lists to filter games or media type. Often things are missing in the game mode, and the media must be loaded one by one. It is tilted, but if you want to give it a snapshot, search for your picture, select it, press the &#8220;Share&#8221; button, choose &#8220;Share on Steam &#8230;&#8221; Then click &#8220;Download&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>If things go well, the image will be available via Steam on your computer. In my experience, loading fails often due to the lack of a cause. Fortunately, there is a much better way!<\/p>\n<p>For this, I would like to use a wonderful part of the free called residents. The wireless file transmission protocol works between any device connected to almost a local network. There are versions of <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/localsend.org\">Population<\/a> For Windows, MacOS, Linux, iPhone, iPad and Android.<\/p>\n<p>First, download OCALSEND For Steam Deck by opening the &#8220;Discover&#8221; store within the application application system&gt;. Find OCALSEND (Click Steam+X to show the keyboard on the screen) and use the &#8220;Install&#8221; button to add it.<\/p>\n<p>Now search for screen clips using the instructions mentioned in the sections above. Select multiple screen shots by clicking the &#8220;+&#8221; button on each image icon until you select everything, then click the right mouse (left trigger) and press here on &#8220;Name.zip&#8221; to create a new archive.<\/p>\n<div class=\"body-img landscape \">\n<div class=\"responsive-img  image-expandable  img-article-item\">\n<figure>\n<p>                <img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"750\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"Click the multiple screen shots files to transfer them once.\" data-img-url=\"https:\/\/goodwriterz.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/1740463494_879_How-to-pick-up-screen-clips-find-them-and-share.png\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/goodwriterz.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/1740463494_879_How-to-pick-up-screen-clips-find-them-and-share.png?resize=1200%2C750&#038;ssl=1\" style=\"height:auto;max-width:100%\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<\/figure><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>    To make things a little easier, you can right -click the archive that you just did, then choose &#8220;Cut&#8221; and then right -clicking on the desktop and choose &#8220;Paste one file&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Now go to the application launcher&gt; facilities and open population. Click Send&gt; File and then choose &#8220;Desktop&#8221; and select the archive. Any other devices that run OCALSG must appear under the title &#8220;nearby devices&#8221;.
