Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete also centers around a campsite filled with adorable animal characters. You play the role of the manager of this campsite, traveling in your campervan, participating in relaxing events, and bringing new people to your campgrounds. Unlike the free-to-play Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, the new game doesn’t have any running subscriptions or loot box items (such as fortune cookies). All you have to do is pay a one-time fee of $19.99 to purchase the game, which mostly works offline.<\/p>\n

You have until June 1, 2025 to transfer your game data from the soon-to-be-discontinued Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. You can transfer crafting materials, inventory items, camp layouts, cabins, outfits, and more via your Nintendo Account. When you download the new game, you’ll need to sign in to the same Nintendo Account to get your save data.<\/p>\n

Online multiplayer and Pocket Camp Club (paid monthly subscription) are not included in the new Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete. Leaf Tickets, the in-game currency of the original game, were also left behind, replaced by “Leaf Tokens”. You can earn these card tokens by completing in-game quests and use them to make purchases or craft things faster. There’s also a new site called Whistle Pass where you can join the community for events like live music performances.<\/p>\n

Playing with friends will be different in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete. The game works offline, so you cannot share items using the in-game market. The developers have added scannable Camper Cards that let you add people to your friends list using QR codes. You can create a Camper Card and customize it to play with friends.<\/p>\n

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete will be available on December 2, 2024. You can too Pre-order it on the App Store<\/a> and play store<\/a>. Nintendo is offering a $10 early bird discount that ends on January 30, 2025. So if you buy the new game before February, you can get it for just $9.99.<\/p>\n
