It has extra ports and a touchscreen, which you can use to expand on its features.<\/p>\n<p>For example, you can connect the Steam Deck to a monitor, expanding the 7.4-inch screen to something bigger. Who wouldn&#8217;t love doing that? And with its ports and Bluetooth support, you can connect a mouse and keyboard, too. To make that all easier, though, you want a docking station. Valve has the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/steamdeckdock\">official Steam Deck Dock, but there are plenty of third-party options and USB-C hubs, too.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of ports, the Steam Deck has its own internal storage, which you can replace, but if you aren&#8217;t tech-savvy, you can always use the built-in microSD card slot. Just like with smartphones, you pop in a microSD card and <em>boom<\/em>! You have extra storage for all your games. It isn&#8217;t as good as the internal storage, so if you feel brave, you can upgrade your Steam Deck&#8217;s SSD yourself.<\/p>\n<p>Like a smartphone, the Steam Deck could use some protection. This comes in the form of a case, screen protector, and, if you travel or go on a road trip, a travel case.
